Don't Lose a Fridge Full of Vaccines Overnight
One unnoticed excursion can spoil thousands of dollars of vaccines and blow a cold-chain audit. MaxLinc loggers watch every fridge and freezer 24/7, fire instant SMS, call, push and email alerts the moment temperature drifts, and keep NIST-traceable, audit-ready records automatically. No subscription.

Clinical & Vaccine Monitoring FAQ
Does MaxLinc help us stay compliant with vaccine cold-chain requirements?+
Yes. The loggers continuously record fridge and freezer temperatures and store a tamper-evident, time-stamped history you can export for audits. You can set high and low thresholds — for example the standard 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) refrigerated vaccine range — and pull NIST-traceable calibration documentation and 21 CFR Part 11-style PDF reports straight from the cloud dashboard. Advanced reporting is included at no extra cost.
How fast will staff be alerted if a vaccine fridge goes out of range?+
Temperature is logged continuously, and the moment a reading crosses your configured limit the cloud sends real-time alerts by SMS text, phone call, push notification, and email. Escalation to multiple recipients means an excursion at 2 a.m. reaches an on-call nurse or pharmacist before product is lost, not at the next morning's manual check.
Can it monitor ultra-cold freezers and ambient room conditions, not just standard fridges?+
Yes. Different probes cover different ranges: refrigerated vaccine storage at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F), frozen and ultra-cold freezers well below 0°C (32°F), and ambient room mapping for medication and supply storage. You deploy EDGE nodes on critical units and add nodes for ambient temperature and humidity, all reporting to one dashboard.
Is there a monthly subscription, and do we need to wire it into hospital IT?+
There is no required subscription to monitor your devices, and the loggers send encrypted data directly to the LoggerFlex cloud over their own connection, so they don't depend on bridging into your hospital network. WiFi and cellular models are available; cellular units keep reporting and alerting even where facility WiFi is unavailable or restricted.
What happens to the data and alerts during a power outage?+
The loggers run on internal batteries (4 x AA), so they keep recording temperatures and sending alerts through a power failure rather than going dark. Loss of power is itself an alarm condition, so staff are notified by text, call, push, and email if a fridge or freezer loses mains power, and the logged history shows exactly when the outage began and ended for your records.
